Problem is that the wireless router (Cisco Linksys E2000) doesn't list the Pi in the DHCP client table. All other wired and wireless connections are listed - I can see their names, MAC addresses and IP addresses. To allocate a fixed IP address, I pick the one I'm interested in and just tell the router what fixed address I want allocated in future.
