In the properties there is written: "This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)". Do a google search for "Code 31" and see if any of the "hits" are what the problem you are having, there is a lot of info. Microsoft says it's a driver problem.

I would say the increase in frequency has everything to do with the fact that the win7 usb core stack is much more strict about compliance than the XP core was. as such, on win7, your firmware issues show up more often and if you used your own driver, you would see the same relative frequency that you do with winusb. end of story: fix your
